Summer ‘helping’ had me a blast! Tell me more!
We are gearing up for our events season. We have three events this summer, Walk A Mile In Her Shoes, Goddess Run and the Triathlon of Compassion. All three events raise funds and awareness for the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre. As always we need a ton of volunteers to lend their support to help make these events a success.
Volunteering at these events could mean handing out water to a determined runner on the last leg of their triathlon, keeping the crowd safe and together as a road marshal at Walk A Mile or providing information about the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre at one of our info tables.
Whatever the position, volunteering at one of these events is actually fun and as one event volunteer noted , “it is a privilege to be a part of such a positive community experience! Thanks for the opportunity to contribute to what I believe to be a very successful event”.
Below is our event info and who to contact if you are interested in volunteering
