We encourage applicants with the skills and knowledge to engage productively with diverse communities in Board roles such as Treasurer and Secretary and those with experience in Fund Development, Human Resources, and Property Management/Real Estate to support our board committees.
To reflect the diversity of the community we serve we strive for the VSAC’s board and committees to reflect the diversity of the community including members of visible minority groups, Indigenous persons, persons with disabilities, sex workers, LGBQ+ persons, Trans, Two-Spirit and Gender Non-Conforming persons.
Board of Directors
- Two-year term
- Attend, monthly, 2-hour board meetings
- Provide additional support to committees (1-4 hrs a month)
- Provide expertise and advice to our Fundraising committee, People & Culture (HR) committee and Growth Inclusion Facility Transformation (GIFT) Committee
- Attend committees meetings (1-4 hours a month)
