VSAC - Home of Support

Victoria Sexual Assault Centre wants to pass along some exciting news! As of August 2025, we have purchased additional office space at our Cedar Hill building location. VSAC now owns the space for our integrated sexual assault clinic and police interview room, a location we had been renting for the last 9 years. Rooted in a strong relationship with our landlord, VSAC was offered an opportunity to purchase the space when it became available. We are very thankful to the previous owners for considering VSAC and the ability to create sustainability for our clinic and police interview space.

With the 10th anniversary of the clinic coming up next year, it feels especially good to know our space is stable and secure. We want to say a huge thank you to the staff, volunteers and Board members who supported with the purchase and to extend our gratitude to you as VSAC donors; your generosity played a big part in our ability to take advantage of this opportunity.

VSAC Clinic

As an organization committed to truth, reconciliation, and meaningful change in both our community and the anti-violence sector, we want to acknowledge that VSAC operates and has purchased land on the traditional unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples, known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees nations, and the WSANEC peoples.

We recognize the deep history, stewardship, and resilience of the Indigenous peoples and communities who have cared for this land for countless generations, and we acknowledge the responsibility that comes with owning land on these territories. While we are still learning how to respectfully follow local protocols in our service delivery and in our interactions with financial, legal, and governmental institutions, we are committed to doing this work with integrity, humility, and transparency. We welcome guidance from Indigenous leaders, Elders, and community members as we grow our understanding now and into the future.

We want to thank our generous donors and collaborative community partners for your generosity to our organization and for supporting the sustainability of our vital services.

Thank you!
